After onboarding, customers are given four Jiko pockets into which they may transfer cash. Pockets correspond to 4-, 13-, 26-, and 52-week T-bills3. Any and all pockets can be funded according to liquidity needs.

Upon transfer to a pocket, cash moves through Jiko’s OCC-chartered national bank and is invested via Jiko’s registered broker-dealer in the latest “on-the-run\" T-bill of the designated maturity of the pocket.

Upon settlement, T-bills are custodied at The Bank of New York Mellon. Proceeds are automatically reinvested (i.e., T-bills are “rolled”) at maturity. When funds are needed, T-bills are liquidated on-demand.
